Franco Porto, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at CN Internal Medicine in Alexandria, Virginia.
Franco began his education at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. He continued on to George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he completed his family nurse practitioner program. He is a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Franco is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Prior to completing his master’s degree, he was a registered nurse for four years, working in a cardiac and neuro unit during his career. He currently serves patients at both CN Internal Medicine and INOVA Alexandria Hospital.
A true leader, Franco was awarded the Cultural leader of the Month award from the hospital, and continues to bring that unmatched bedside manner and energy to the CN Internal Medicine team.
When not at the office, Franco enjoys traveling, swimming, working out, and spending time with his wife and kids.
