About Marianne Bowman

Marianne Bowman, FNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at CN Internal Medicine in Alexandria, Virginia. 

Marianne originally went to school for accounting, earning a degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Understanding her true passion was for people and their wellbeing, Marianne returned to school and completed her degree in nursing at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She later earned her master’s in nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Marianne worked as a registered nurse for six years, earning experience in the medical and postpartum units. Throughout her career, she has been particularly interested in chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and women’s health. She is a proud member of the American Nurses Association. 

When not in the office, Marianne loves reading, traveling, cheering on the Nationals at a baseball game, and spending time with her family and dog.
