Sabahat Nawab, MD, is a board-certified internist at CN Internal Medicine in Alexandria, Virginia. She is open to discussions with her patients about alternative care and thrives in advising, counseling, and listening to their concerns without judgment.
Dr. Nawab specializes in adult primary care, geriatric care, and women’s health. She earned her undergraduate degree at Kinnaird College in Lahore, Pakistan, and continued on to the King Edward Medical University for her Bachelor of Surgery. She then moved to the United States for her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – McKeesport Hospital.
Throughout her education and experience, Dr. Nawab knows that the empathy and attention she gives her patients is just as important as their prescribed treatment plan. She treats the whole person, not just the symptoms or disease.
When not in the office, Dr. Nawab is involved in hospital committees, volunteers in community health programs, and is a devoted supporter of her children and their activities. She also loves reading and traveling.
